Lanson’s long standing relationship with Great Britain makes it the second leading brand in the country

Lanson has a strong historic link with Great Britain which dates back to 1860. The brand was awarded the famous Royal Warrant as an official supplier to the court of England by Queen Victoria, a distinction which Lanson has retained ever since.

Since then, Lanson has enjoyed a privileged relationship with the Kingdom and its image has been associated to major events such as the Wimbledon Tournament (Lanson has sponsored the championships since 1977 and was appointed as official supplier in 2001) and the Allam British Open Championships.

Lanson was also served in honor of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother to celebrate her 100th birthday in 2000 and of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

Today, Lanson’s market share accounts for 16,2% on the on-trade segment and £23,4 millions on the off-trade segment, pulling itself up to the second position behind Moët & Chandon.
